St. Louis, MO – St. Josephine Bakhita Parish is thrilled to announce the launch of Bakhita's Blessings Podcast, a weekly podcast designed to inspire, inform, and strengthen the faith of listeners in a joyful and engaging way. The highly anticipated first episode will premiere on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 6 AM CST on all major podcast platforms. A video version of the podcast will also be available on YouTube, airing on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

We will gather to honor Deacon Peterson at his wake on October 7, 2024, at 9:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
Burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks, and a repast will follow at St. Nicholas.
The St. Joseph Housing Initiative's second Fall Series in North City offers workshops to empower individuals with financial literacy and homeownership skills. Sessions include creating a spending plan, understanding and using credit wisely, obtaining a home loan, and protecting investments. These workshops are held at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish to strengthen community connections and support residents in achieving financial stability and homeownership. With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Deacon Peterson, a devoted servant of our faith community. His life was a testament to humility, compassion, and unwavering faith. Deacon Peterson touched countless lives with his kind spirit and commitment to the teachings of Christ. While we grieve his loss, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace with our Lord.
