Peace and Justice Commission of St. Josephine Bakhita Parish Mission Statement:

The Peace and Justice Commission of St. Josephine Bakhita Parish, guided by our mission to “open wide our doors and hearts to all” is inspired by the Gospel’s call for peace and justice, seeks to make real the values of Catholic social teaching.  Through service, education, and advocacy, we work to promote change in our local and global community through the lens of compassion, fairness, and the wellbeing of all, especially those in need.

The Commission meets the 4^th Saturday of each month from 9:45 a.m. – 11 a.m.  If you have a passion for justice and want to be as John Lewis describes, “good trouble”, come join us!
